The C&F Comp had only 5 entries this year; an Apollo glider from a RCME plan by Alan Cousins, a Ricochet electric glider (Oz kit) by Martyn Pressnel, an own-design Sopwith Tabloid by Mike Roach, Clive Spencer’s Sopwith 11/2 Strutter from a plan by Dale Tattum and the superb Storch by Ken Spokes which was reviewed in the last issue. After a somewhat controversial marking session (you ran out of marks after 2 models, if I remember right) Clive took a very well-deserved first place.  This is not the first time it has been entered in the C&F, but it looked very smart in its new Solartex covering.  Clive had a very successful flying session a few days later when the markings and some detail had been added, as you can see from the cover picture.Ed
