MORE AIRCRAFT FROM COMPTON ABBAS

There were lots of civil aircraft movements during the time we were there, at times it was really busy on the airstrip, with warplanes taxying, civils landing or taking off and lots to watch all the time. A marvellous day, well worth repeating

Grob G109B took off but returned almost immediately with the cabin door open! A latch failiure apparently, but it didn’t fly again while we were there.
