CHUCKIE NIGHT WEDNESDAY 5TH JANUARY 2022

Each club member who want to enter will get a sheet of 3mm depron 18” x 3” and a strip of 6mm depron 12” x 1”,  with which to make a chuck glider. Foam-friendly contact glue will be provided, (or bring your own) but you will need to bring a cutting mat or board, a very sharp knife, straight edge and a nose-weight of some sort.

30 minutes will be allowed for the design and building process (the glue sets in 10 minutes), then there will be rounds of distance, duration and aerobatic flight, with a small prize for each round.

There is one catch - the model may be of any shape or form EXCEPT the standard “wing in front, tail at the back”. So canard, flying wing, discus etc are all possibilities.

Designs may be brought with you, from books, magazines, t’internet or wherever.
