Sloping Off - our newsletter

FROM THE ARCHIVES - 30 YEARS AGO!

Here’s another contribution from Trevor Hewson. He wonders if it still relevant today?

“Hello Mike,

I’ve attached an article from a 1987 edition of Sloping Off.

C&DMFC has never been a club for too many formal rules, preferring instead to get the message across on such things as slope etiquette in more subtle(?) ways. As, for example, in this article, taken from the Summer 1987 edition of Sloping Off. Although it was published anonymously, anyone frequenting the slopes at the time would have no difficulty identifying the author. Of course, various parts of it just might put you in mind of one or two other folk - or indeed cause you to look in the mirror. . . . "
