Although the notices about model flying have been reinstated at Kings Park and at Stanpit, some members of the public have apparently taken them as meaning that all flying is prohibited. This is understandable, as the notices don't actually say "but you can fly gliders or electric powered models", they just prohibit IC and rocket powered ones.
If you are flying at KP or Stanpit and someone does take exception, please would you explain that model flying is allowed, with the exception of the classes listed on the notice. If they persist, please ask them to contact the Secretary, Chairman or any committee member and we will explain the situation to them. Unless you are flying a rocket, of course....
