THE HURRICANE FLIES! I reported on the (very slow) progress of the D Rock Hurricane a couple of issues ago, and finally got round to finishing it after completing the DH 86 Express. Thankfully it flew well, although not before attacking a tree and suffering minor damage, easily repaired. She flies best on four cells but three is acceptable, a good thing since I have very few 4-cell batteries. Painting was with Dulux mixed camo paints from Homebase, applied with a roller and the markings are from Calliegraphics. The model represents a Sea Hurricane. - Mike Roach |
