CHUCK-UP NIGHT

Thanks to everyone who came to the Chuckie Evening on 2nd February and to David B for the photos.

I fully expected a flying wing to win because it maximised the wing area available from the 18 x 3” of Depron provided, but in fact it was Martin Burr’s canard that came out on top but a few inches in the fly-off. Just to recap, you got3mm depron 18 x 3 and 6mm depron 12 x 1 to make a chuck glider, for distance, duration and stunt flying, The only catch was that it could not be a standard “wing in front, tail at the back” design.
